December 2022 vs October 2024 💪🏽 Recovery after birth realistically takes 6-18 months, not just 6 weeks. With my first pregnancy, I started working out at 3 months postpartum and reached my pre-baby weight by 6 months. Having my parents around gave me the time and support I needed to focus on myself. The second time around was harder. Living away from family, I struggled to balance the demands of a newborn with the pressure I put on myself to get back to the gym. Now, I’m 5kg heavier than my pre-baby weight, but I move when I can and prioritize rest so I can be my best for my girls.
