We surprised my mom with her dream car! When my father passed away I made a promise to myself and to him, that I would I take care of this family no matter what, after his passing our life took a big twist, life showed me and made me realize a lot of things, that’s when I gave up myself to God and told him to show me the path, to guide me every step of the way, there was nothing to lose because I felt like I had lost it all, my father, our protection, our provider was gone, so from there everything that came into my life was to learn and grow, I saw life in a way where I had everything to win and nothing to lose, the bar was set very high in what can hurt and what can’t hurt anymore, seeing my mom going through the battle of losing her partner of life and 3 younger siblings that would grow up without a father figure, I decided to leave my house, leave my country at 15 years old, to look for a way to take care and uplift my family, I was never scared I knew God and my father would be there to guide me through the journey, I knew that everything that I was going to start going through was for a reason, for something better, I understood that the more you experience the more knowledge you obtain and can be used to build and grow yourself, you never really lose even when your going through difficult times, you only learn and win that’s it. The admiration I have for my mother, the strength she had to to have to deal with so many rough moments in her life, is what fuels me to never stop, the value is not in the car, the real value is in the person you become in the process to achieve the things you want in life, the value is in the pain and difficult moments you go through in order to grow, that’s where the real value is, I remember telling my mom the day I was leaving the house that everything was going to be okay, I made her a promise that we will make it happen, not knowing what God had planned, just trusting him. Nothing is impossible when having God in your life, don’t stop fighting, enjoy the process and be grateful with everything that happens in your life because it’s all taking you to something better.
