I had a vision for my birthday outfit, but the chosen outfit did not fit 🤣🤣🤣 That's okay...a price I'm happy to pay to have my son here for my birthday this year 🩵

Going through the most pain I've ever felt in my life made into a beautiful sacred memory by this incredible man holding & supporting me through every contraction, every thought of disbelief & by my side through hours & hours of the gruelling unknown. On the 18th of October we transitioned into a new season of becoming a family, becoming a mother & becoming a father to our beautiful son. A son that we've been on a 3 year journey to finally meet him 🥹 I'm so glad we never gave up on you our rainbow baby 🌈 Life will never be the same in all the best ways possible & I'm honestly so grateful I've chosen a man that is such a beautiful example of what our little Rivah should grow up to be like ❤️ You're our hero, our protector & king of our hearts ♥️ @Joel Bushby

We're going home today 🥹🩵 Bubba has had a couple of days of light therapy and responded really well, they weaned him off the lights one by one to make sure he didn't rebound & he's passed with flying colours! I'm breastfeeding him and have been pumping between feeds to give him additional top ups to flush his system through & get the scales up which seems to be working really well 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 It's a bloody mission but all worth it 🩵 Hospital stays are rough to say the least 😅 But anything for this little guy, even if that does mean I'm walking around in a peed on dress as it was the only clothes I took 😂 Rookie error & will now have 15 spares with me at all times hahah! Thank you all for your love and prayers, Rivah is our tough little cookie & we are very happy to be back home as a family ❤️‍🩹

I can't believe I'm a mum 🥹 And a mum to the most perfect little man I have ever seen 🩵 3 years of wishing, waiting & hoping fast forward to now loving & holding you for one whole week 😭 Out of all the things I've done & places I've been, NOTHING compares to this feeling 💫

& just like that, our whole world has changed forever in all the best ways possible 🩵 Rivah 18.10.24 born under the Hunter super moon 🌙 I didn't know it was possible to love something this much 🥹 I wanted to pop in here and thank every single one of you for your overwhelming love & support across the globe the past couple of days, many of you have been on this journey with us for years now & we are just so grateful for every single one of you 🙏🏻 I'm so sorry I haven't got back to you all yet, I have left my phone in Joel's capable hands to keep you all updated so I can just enjoy this bubble of love & navigate being the best mum I can be for our Rivah 🩵 I love you all, I'm recovering so well, Rivah is perfect in every way & Joel is taking such incredible care of us all. I will share the birth story when I'm feeling up to it I promise 💫

Our little Rivah boy has taken an emergency trip to hospital with high levels of bilirubin in his blood due to him being born 4 weeks early & his little liver not working as it should yet 😭❤️‍🩹 They're treating his Jaundice and we are already seeing a really positive response with the light therapy 🙏🏻 I'm continuing to breast feed him and pumping in between with bottle feeds to top him up to flush his system through and also have him under the lights as long as possible. Breaks my heart seeing our little man like this 😭 I know this is only the beginning of navigating the ups and downs of motherhood & him scaring the living daylights out of me but golly gosh, I'm just so worried about him & all whilst my hormones are a cocktail of all the feels 🥺 So grateful for our medical advancements to be able to help our little angel so quickly ❤️‍🩹 I've stayed overnight with him & won't leave his side 🤱🏼 We are waiting for our next blood results soon so fingers crossed he's trending in the right way 🤞🏻 @Joel Bushby has been our absolute rock and strength throughout this...running the company, running back and forth to hospital & whilst caring for all our animals + household & coping with my emotional messness like a true king 🥹 Family, through thick and thin is something I'm very grateful for ♾️

What I was made for ♥️

This was after I decided to for a big walk to help speed things up for labour & I ended up with the worst fluid retention in all my limbs I've ever had along with being in so much pain just from walking 🤣😅 Im fine now but wow pregnancy is tough 🩷 #36weekspregnant

Introducing Rivah to our King Parrot friends that visit us each day 🦜 Moments like this really are so special & I'll hold onto these memories for a lifetime 🥹♥️

My new 24:7 & I wouldn't have it any other way 🩵 Bubba just doesn't want to be apart from me at all which is understandable given he was born 4 weeks premature and babies really do crave that closeness to mum during the 4th trimester. I can't imagine how overwhelming the big wide world is to babies given they've been in a warm safe cocoon for so long, it wouldn't be easy being this tiny & vulnerable 🥹 This is certainly making doing anything for myself a little challenging 🥲 but I'm doing my best 🙏🏻 Rivah is honestly a dream & we are just obsessed with how perfect he is! @Joel Bushby has been incredible helping me run the house, company & animals as my time & energy has recently taken a huge shift navigating & tending to our little man.....he's such a hands on dad & it makes me so happy 🥹 I feel that Dads could easily take a back seat during this newborn season as the babies need mum so much it would be quite easy for Dads to feel left out or not needed however even though there hasn't been too much he can do with Bub, Joel has made it his mission to be the rock of this family, protect, provide & show up in every way he can to ensure I feel supported through this transition to motherhood 🥹♥️ Something I am truly very grateful for as I won't lie, my emotions have been a roller coaster lately & although I'm SO HAPPY, it's also not easy. So an update: Riv is cluster feeding at the moment & given I'm breastfeeding this is a very demanding full time job 🤣 He's growing right before our eyes & I'm soaking it all in staring at him 24:7 to make sure I don't miss a thing 🥹🩵 He's sleeping really well he's just hungry all the time like his Dadda 🤣 What a gift it is to be a mother...to be his mama 💫 I'm loving this season so much & as I approach my birthday this week it's got me crying at the thought of "I literally have the best birthday present ever" 😭
