Ingredients for the Salisbury Steak: 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef (90/10) 1 egg 3/4 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup ketchup 3 tbsps of mustard 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder Mix everything together and form 5-6 beef patties. Ingredients for the Mushroom Gravy: 8oz of sliced mini portobello mushrooms 1 sliced onion 1 tbsp minced garlic 3 cups beef broth 3 tbsps butter 2 tbsps flour 1/2 tsp salt In a large pan add 3 tbsp of oil and cook beef patties 2 minutes on each side on medium heat. Remove beef patties and add 2 tbsps of butter, minced garlic, onions and mushrooms. Cook for 4-5 minutes then add 1 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsps of flour. Whisk in the flour and then add then add beef broth a cup at a time until reaching desired consistency. Season with salt and add back in the Salisbury Steak to simmer in the gravy for 4-5 minutes to finish cooking. For the cauliflower mash I cut up one head of cauliflower, boiled for 10 minutes, drained, tossed back in pot to cook on low heat for another 5 minutes to dry it out, then blend in the food processor with 2 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsps of cream cheese. Here’s my recipe Pistachio Cream 16 ounces of shelled pistachios 3/4 cup of milk 4 ounces white chocolate 3/4 cup powdered sugar 2 tbsps butter Instructions Boil pistachios for 5 minutes, drain and place on a kitchen towel. Rub towel over pistachios to loosen outer skin and peel off. Place pistachios in a food processor with 1/4 cup of milk and blend until a thick paste. You might have to stop and start a few times to scrap the sides down. In a small saucepan melt butter and add 1/2 cup of milk. Simmer on low heat and add melt white chocolate. Salmon and Rice in the rice cooker. It’s a great hack for a set it and forget it kind of dinner. The recipe is 1 cup rice, 6-8oz salmon fillet, 1 1/2 tbsps sesame oil and 2 tbsps soy sauce. Cook in the rice cooker and then add 1oz sliced green onions, 2 tbsps kewpie mayo, 2 tbsps sriracha and a generous amount of furikake rice seasoning. Make Potato Salad this Easter with all your eggs. When I make my potato salad I separate the yolk from the eggs and mash it up with mayo, mustard, paprika, salt and pepper. I then add the chopped up white part of the egg, celery, red onions, black olives and boiled cubed potatoes. The salsa verde you can do store bought if you want to save time. Mine has tomatillos, white onion, jalapeños, garlic, chicken bullion, oregano and salt. This I how I made my Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich recipe. Ingredients 1 1/2 pounds ribeye steak thinly sliced 1 large chopped onion 1/2 a large chopped green bell pepper 2 cups sliced mushrooms 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper and garlic powder 3 tablespoons of olive oil Instructions In a large pan add two tablespoons of olive and heat to low. Toss in onions and cook for 5 minutes and continuously stir until onion soften. Next toss in bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes before adding in the mushrooms. Cook for another 3-4 minutes and push everything to half the pan. Add remaining only and cook ribeye steak. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic. Cook until beef is done and layer on multiple slices of provolone cheese. Serve on toast bread. #phillycheesesteak #steakrecipe #recipes
