Tomatoes: -5 tomatoes Slice an x in the tomatoes and boil for some seconds until the skin peels away. Remove the seeds and liquid. Caramelized Onion: -1 onion -1-2 tbsp oil Caramelize the onion by cooking on a medium heat with oil until softened, cook on low heat until they become brown. Roux: -60g fat, lard or bacon -60g all purpose flour -2-3 tbsp curry powder -1 tbsp garam masala Combine fat and flour, cook on medium heat until the color turns brown, stir frequently. After that add curry powder, garam masala, combine and remove from heat. Curry: -3-4 potatoes -2-3 carrots -water -dark rou -500ml chicken stock -tomatoes -caramelized Onions -marinated beef -1/2 grated apple -salt and pepper to season -potato starch to thicken if necessary Add potatoes and carrots in a pot, add enough water to cover. Set heat to medium-high. After everything is simmering add all other ingredients. After boiling, lower the heat to medium-low and cook until beef is tender. Remove foam and fat from the surface. Yakisoba Pan 🌭🍜 from DAN DA DAN 👹🛸 Recipe: -200g yakisoba or chuka men noodles (or any other wheat noodles) -koppe bun, or hot dog or any soft sandwich -1 sausage -2 tbsp vegetable oil -1/4 small cabbage, shredded -1/4 salad -yakisoba sauce -salt and pepper to taste -optional: sriracha and mayonnaise -dried seaweed -pickled ginger Homemade Yakisoba Sauce: -4 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce -2 tsp Soy sauce -4 tsp Ketchup -4 tsp Oyster sauce -2 tsp Sugar Instructions: Cook the yakisoba noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Slice the sausage into thin rounds or bite-sized pieces. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage, yakisoba noodles, shredded cabbage and yakisoba sauce. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften. Stir-fry and allowing the noodles to absorb the sauce and become slightly crispy at the edges. Slice the hot dog buns open, leaving one side intact like a pocket. Add some sriracha and mayonnaise to the sides. Stuff the rolls with the salad and stir-fried yakisoba mixture. In a pan at medium-high heat, add some oil. Add your beef, season with paprika powder, salt, sugar and pepper. Fry until golden brown and transfer the beef into a pot. Deglace the pan with 100ml water and add this to your pot. Into the same pan add oil and lightly fry your potatoes. Add your carrots and onion, fry until the onions are translucent. Add the flour, the garlic and cook 1 more minute. Transfer everything into the pot. To the pot add red wine, tomato sauce, worcester shire sauce, beef or chicken broth, bay leaf and thyme. Season with salt and black pepper. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling reduce the heat to low and continue simmering for 2-3 hours or until the beef is tender. Serve with some parsley on top, fresh bread and red wine.
