I love picking up functional yet beautiful items like kitchen tools during our travels. Every time we use it, we think of our trip! It’s the perfect souvenir in my opinion. The only problem is the weight limit for our luggage. Who knew that buying a tea shelf half way across the world would spark an entire room make over? I did. Welcome to part one of our tea room makeover where we turn this neglected area into an actual space people want to sit in. Today we created a mood board with our tea cabinet as the star and started lime washing our walls. It created the perfect wabi sabi backdrop for a relaxing and cozy sitting area. Replying to @Mee2z2z Final reveal! Nobody ever sat in this room until we gave it a makeover! The layout wasn’t great for conversation so we reimagined it and turned this room into a tea room. The two Wayne armchairs look great from every angle and brought in the warmth I was craving. And the Adams love seat was the perfect way to create an intentional and cozy space.
