At least (in my unprofessional opinion) this *particular* outbreak seems to be recovering more & more every day. I know that there are EVEN worse things it could’ve been & for that I’m grateful. I’ll just have to be EXTRA aware of allllllllllll these new things that could trigger another outbreak, leading me to be out of work for months again. I never thought one decision to get a chemical peel, would’ve changed the course of the rest of my life. I hope this makes you take a second & consider all potential outcomes the next time you go to book an appointment. Is it worth it?

I know that I look SO insane asking 6 different times for her to just check her chart to get the correct diagnoses but that’s bc at THIS point? I was in fact, insane. Being misdiagnosed 5 times will do that to ya. Thankfully they were patient with me 😭 long story short, I have hsv 1, 2, and staph. 🤦🏻‍♀️ but the whole reason I made this video is to tell you to never give up & keep advocating for yourself, even if they try & kick you out 💀 Sidebar: my lesions are almost completely cleared up, all the scabs are off 🥹 God really is putting in overtime👏🏼

I saw a lot of comments on previous posts referencing how well I’m taking all this & as kind as that is, I promise you there’s so much uncertainty that’s happening at the same time. If you say it’s not that deep, I’ll reiterate.. you were never in our shoes & will never understand that feeling of your job being put on the line by people recording you & trying to get you to “mess up” in an attempt to “be funny”. How would you feel if someone showed up to your place of employment & constantly tried insulting you while filming? Yeah.. anyways. I don’t speak for the Disney brand or company but hope that by having these conversations & educating people, I can help make performers lives easier & guests interactions more fun. (Bc I promise you if the character likes you they will spend as much time with you as they want- but I can only speak for myself on that🤷🏻‍♀️)

Replying to @KingJ_exe doing those things have helped to take me from “religion” to “relationship with God” & im ngl if I was reading something in the Bible that was too symbolic & I was getting confused, I asked chat GPT to break it down for me & it helped so much. I was SOBBING before I even started filming. I’ve probably watched this scene from “the Chosen” every single day. The scene: Jesus is asking one of his disciples, james, to go out in HIS name & heal others. James feels like that’s a slap in the face when he himself is suffering from a physical disability & Jesus hasn’t healed him.. Jesus responds with gentleness and wisdom, explaining that while physical healing is a powerful sign, there’s even greater power in someone who *could* be healed but still chooses to follow Him faithfully. He tells James that he will be able to reach people in a way others can’t, precisely *because* of his suffering. His testimony will be more powerful because he continues to trust God without being healed. This is powerful because it reflects a deep biblical truth: healing is not always immediate or guaranteed in this life. Think of Paul and his “thorn in the flesh” in 2 Corinthians 12—when he asked God to remove it, God answered, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Don’t think I’m emotional over what I’ve dealt with, I know it’s not that deep & I could’ve literally gone blind so I am SO thankful for my sight & health & that it wasn’t so much worse. But that scene does it to me every time😭 #chemicalpeel #horrorstory

But we’re not living for the world, are we? I think it’s important to have these conversations though bc it can feel like you’re COMPLETELY alone in these struggles & that’s exactly what the enemy wants.
