Zimmers are extended chassis Mustangs that are considered “neoclassical” for their 1920s design but “modern” interiors (hey I am happy with Bluetooth). I have the rarest ones (a 2011 and 2013 Zimmer) and both are the GT trim with Coyote V8s. They are about 21 feet in length (yes I can still do U-turns). Originally they were $138,000 to have done, which was the price of the Mustang back then and about $100k for 6-8 months of body work. These are very well made as I have durability tested them for the first time with road trips, winter driving, and tens of thousands of miles. Regarding if they’re kit cars… they were never advertised as such but I won’t argue with either side. It’s not a kit you can order and assemble at home.
