Morning sickness may also be influenced by sperm quality. Studies suggest that healthier sperm can support placental development, which may reduce risk of pregnancy related symptoms like nausea. Endometriosis can be difficult to diagnose and is often missed. Can take years to diagnose in some cases. Here are 4 signs which might not associate with endometriosis : 🚽 Polyuria (frequent urination) Endometriosis can grow on the bladder or ureters, leading to pressure, urgency, or needing to pee constantly — even without infection. In one study, 41–48% of people with bladder endometriosis had at least one urinary symptom (PMID: 40002617). ⚡ Nerve Pain Not all endometriosis pain is inflammatory — around 40% of patients report pain that feels nerve-related, like burning or stabbing sensations. Lesions can grow near or on pelvic nerves, causing sharp, radiating pain that worsens with movement. Research shows this neuropathic-type pain is linked to higher pain intensity, brain fog, and emotional distress (PMID: 35295529). 🌫️ Brain fog Chronic inflammation from endometriosis can affect the brain — impacting memory, focus, and pain processing. Patients often report trouble concentrating or remembering details. Preclinical research supports this link, and newer studies are exploring the neuroinflammatory connection (PMID: 29425272, 33390910). 🥗 Food sensitivities Women with endo report higher rates of food intolerance and allergy symptoms. One study found 25.6% had food sensitivities, vs just 7.7% of those without endo (P=0.009). That said, the evidence is still mixed — but some patients feel better with gluten-free or low-FODMAP diets. — If you’ve been told your symptoms are “normal,” but they don’t feel that way — they’re worth revisiting. #medical #health #healthtips #womenspain #womenshealth #endometriosis
Drinking one energy drink now and then isn’t the issue—it’s the daily habit or bingeing that can put your kidneys at risk. High doses of caffeine, sugar, and additives like taurine can raise blood pressure, cause dehydration, and reduce blood flow to the kidneys. There are case reports of young people developing acute kidney injury after heavy use. #medical #health #healthtips #energydrinks #kidneyhealth VC: @brookiesxtra
Mold doesn’t need much to grow. In warm climates, turning off your AC can let moisture build up fast. Mold spores can start colonizing within 24 to 48 hours if humidity stays above 60%. #medical #health #healthtips #moldprevention #homecare #mold VC: @lifestylebyanna

🧻 Signs of Poor Gut Health You Shouldn't Ignore 💩 Stinky Poop A foul, rotten-egg smell could mean your gut bacteria are out of balance. Some bacteria make sulfur gases that smell bad and are linked to gut issues like Crohn’s or poor nutrient absorption (PMID: 37627565). 🤰 Bloating After Meals Not always about how much you ate—can stem from constipation, SIBO, IBS, or impaired gastric emptying. More gas = more fermentation = more discomfort. Rome IV criteria include weekly episodes lasting ≥3 months (UpToDate). 😴 Low Energy A leaky gut lets endotoxins enter circulation, driving inflammation that disrupts energy metabolism. Gut imbalances may also block B12, iron, folate, and magnesium absorption, all key for energy. (PMID: 36611848) 🧼 Pimple Breakouts The gut-skin axis is real. Dysbiosis can alter immune responses, promoting acne. Acne patients often show depleted Lachnospiraceae and elevated Bacteroides, pointing to a gut trigger. (PMID: 33670115). 🥛 Food Intolerance If certain foods suddenly bother you, like dairy or gluten, your gut might be reacting poorly because the bacteria that help break them down are missing or out of sync (PMID: 23934026, 32651763). ⚖️ Unplanned Weight Changes Gut issues like SIBO or celiac can block nutrient absorption. Meanwhile, low-grade gut inflammation may skew insulin, leptin, and fat storage—causing gain or loss. (PMID: 32676461) #medical #health #healthtips #guthealth #digestion

While this will not help everyone with chronic pain, this is an option which may help. Ibuprofen is an nsaid which can treat pain and inflammation. When taken long term, can increase risk of gastric ulcer, kidney disease, heart attack, and stroke. Tylenol can also reduce pain but does not treat inflammtion. When taken long term can increase risk of liver disease. By taking two medications for pain you can reduce your risk of side effects from both since you can take lower doses of each, this is “multimodal analgesia”. Have you tried this for your pain? #chronicpain #painmeds #chronicpainrelief

🟣 Magnesium Improves insulin receptor function, enhances GLUT4-mediated glucose uptake, and reduces systemic inflammation. In RCTs, 200–250 mg/day lowered HbA1c by nearly 10% and improved insulin resistance markers (DOI: [10.18203/2349-3933.ijam20251934]; PMID: 30587761). 🟡 Berberine Activates AMPK to suppress hepatic glucose output and boost glycolysis. Trials show it reduces HbA1c by ~2%, with added benefits in lowering insulin resistance and postprandial glucose (PMID: 18442638). ⚫ Metformin Reduces hepatic gluconeogenesis and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity. Typically lowers HbA1c by 1–1.5% and supports modest weight loss, especially effective early in disease progression. 🍎 Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) Acetic acid blunts post-meal glucose spikes by slowing gastric emptying and enhancing insulin response. In one study, 30 mL/day for 8 weeks dropped A1C from 9.2% to 7.8% (PMID: 38028980). 🟤 Cinnamon Improves insulin signaling, increases glycogen storage, and slows carbohydrate digestion. 1 g/day reduced HbA1c by 0.83% in 3 months when added to standard care (PMID: 19734396). Discuss with your doctor if any of these options would be a good option for you. 🫡 #bloodsugarcontrol #insulinresistance #medical #health
