I have #homedecor commitment issues… I have a lot of ideas but I have a hard time fully committing to them. I used #peelandstick to test out the idea of open shelves, black backsplash, wood toned island, and moody wallpaper instead of ruin my kitchen. I do actually like how this idea came together!! Also, just because this is considered a #budgetfriendly #renterfriendly #homediy project doesn’t mean it won’t be here for a while… I plan on keeping it! One more thing… this cost me less than $400. I don’t just decorate my house with elements of #southwestdecor for fun… I have always believed #homedecor should represent your outside environment! My house would feel very out of place if I tried to decorate it more traditionally. I LOVE seeing the modern Victorian styles currently trending, but I know I can’t pull that off in my stucco adobe style house. I know my style isn’t trendy right now, but it fits my environment. You might remember when I painted my bathroom cabinets with “sketchy” paint from Amazon. I did this as a test since I get a lot of questions about painting cabinets. I wanted to find a #budgetfriendly and easy #DIY paint so I randomly bought this. I am not disappointed with it!! It’s actually held up shockingly well. A few chips is to be expected especially since I didn’t seal it. I will go ahead and recommend this Dwil paint… it does come in a lot of different colors! #homedecor #homeideas #homeimprovement
