read this BEFORE chopping your hair off:👇🏼When I had severely damaged hair full of split ends & breakage (first video clip), most people told me the ONLY to repair it way was to chop it all off. It had taken me SO long to grow my hair out even a little bit so I did NOT want to cut a majority off. I knew there had to be some way to not cut everything while still getting rid of damage & promoting healthier hair + hair growth. . After a LOT of trial and error, I found THE routine that 100% transformed my hair. I never chopped all my hair off, yet completely transformed my damaged, broken, full of split ends hair into silky, strong, & healthy hair. What did I do? . I could make an entire series about this explaining in depth ALL the steps of what I did, so let me know if you’re interested in that! Brief summary - these 2 things were 2 of the larger parts of my routine: . 1. Weekly split end trims: Once a week I would go & trim any split ends I could find - right above where the hair strand split. You don’t need to cut any higher & you don’t need to chop ALL your hair. Just find the damaged pieces and trim them where the split starts. You also don’t need to trim all the split ends at once. This should be a thing you do 1 to 2 (max) times a week over a period of time. . 2. Weekly oil mask after trim: DIRECTLY after trimming some split ends & damage, apply a hair oil mask to your scalp AND hair, especially where you trimmed. The BEST oil mask I use + highly recommend is linked in my bio 🔗 Let it sit for 3-4 hours before washing out! . 💗 Lmk if you’re interested in more videos explaining/showing those two steps & other things I did to transform my hair w/o chopping it off!
