If you’re a cleaner you should have a detailed list of all the things you do and don’t clean, how long it takes, and communicate it to your client. I understand certain insurances don’t cover things like climbing ladders or disassembling appliances. But there are other options for coverage if you want to do this level of cleaning. Yes it costs more but that’s when you adjust your pricing. Don’t let your customers tell you your prices are too high or negotiate your rate down. If they don’t want to pay what you’re worth they can clean it themselves. Also don’t take on big jobs when you don’t have enough time. Move out cleans take at minimum a full day and a lot of times 2 days. Pricing depends on where you live but you should be charging at the very LEAST $500 and for ONE full day of move out cleaning.
